The town of Marmaris is located at the meeting place of the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Marmaris is one of the largest natural harbors in the world surrounded by pine-clad hills.
The town is 60 kilometers from the provincial capital of Mugla and the mountainous nature of the surrounding countryside means that forestry plays an important part in the area’s economy.
It is not known for certain when Marmaris was founded. However, Marmaris is previously known as Physkos, was part of the Carian Empire in the 6th century BC before she was overrun by the Lydians. Another invasion by the Lydians in 334 BC led to the partition of the Roman Empire ruled by Alexander the Great.
Marmaris (Turkish pronunciation: [ˈmaɾmaɾis]) is a port city and tourist resort on the Mediterranean coast, located in Muğla Province, southwest Turkey, along the shoreline of the Turkish Riviera.
It is also a center for sailing and diving, possessing two major and several smaller marinas. It is a popular wintering location for hundreds of cruising boaters, being also served by the nearby Dalaman Airport.
Take part in our festival and feel the mystery of the Marmaris
The Festival will start on 26 OCTOBER 2022 at 16:00 and will end on 31 OCTOBER 2022 at 16.00
10 years old and above dancers can join the festival.
Singing ensembles, majorettes, chorus folk dance, and modern dance groups are welcome to participate.
Groups will present a performance of 5,10 and 15 minutes.
The group’s capacity is max. 45 person. 30 people must be dancers.
Groups who will attend the festival should be a minimum of 5 people. There will be no free person for any capacity of the groups. Music can be live, cd, or USB.

If the group wants to stay an extra day they can pay 30 Euro/person/day.
Every 30 participants – 1 person is free.
If the group will arrive by plane at Dalaman Airport, transfer (Airport-Hotel, Hotel- Airport, transfer during the festival) will be 700 Euro. It will organize by a committee.
